Store Front Window=Business Website

Your business website is the front window to your business. The same methods that apply to storefront window displays can be applied to your business website. 

• Clean it often - Remove clutter, outdated information, and make sure that it is clean and crisp for all to view. 
• Story based theme - Maybe you sell clothes. Tell a story - night out; day at the office, or, Services - keeping warm in winter with heating & cooling repair; improving profits with business consultation, or having the greenest lawn in the neighborhood. 
• Rule of Threes -This is a trademark of designers. Group items or even text in threes. Maybe three columns, or three pictures highlighting sections of text. Bottom line is to make it visually appealing. 
• Keep it simple - Often, less is better. Simple designs work well with all devices, are visually appealing, load quickly, and have that clean look. 
• Show the why, less of what - Like the story based theme, show (using text too) how your business will work for me. "You can increase your business processes, saving time and money." Or, your products, "The must have up and comers"
• Be specific, and simple - Too much clutter in the window is not interesting and can obstruct the view "to the inside of your business."  
• Change it up with the seasons - Depending on your products or services, consider changing, updating your site as the seasons change. It's a great way to remember to pay attention to your website and make it more appealing to those that visit.
